CVTS offers free Weekly Walk-In Bible Study – This Weekly Walk-In Bible Study is open to participants to join anytime. Topics will be determined by guest instructors each week. This will allow for Holy Spirit led Bible study and discussions on various topics. Join the groups every Wednesday – at 6:30-8p.m., this fall. Relentless Young Adults Ministry is all about developing a deeply personal relationship with God and offering skills so that young people can be prepared for adulthood. The Men’s Ministry will meet on the Second Saturday of each month at 9 a.m., in the Cornerstone Café, to discuss topics that are important to men and learn how to walk in righteousness. OPEN MIC FIRE NIGHT is a safe venue where all artists (musicians, vocalists, dancers, spoken word artists, action artists, comedians, writers, and rappers) can come together and exalt Christ through Christian artistry, every 4th Friday of the month from 7-9 p.m., in the CCF Main Fellowship Hall. The venue is family friendly and all are invited. Our first Open Mic Fire Night for the New Year will be January 27, 2017.

Understanding the dynamics of stepfamily life and development, and learning how to make intentional decisions about how you will grow together is help every step family needs. Don’t try this alone. Join others who are making this journey a priority. You’ll discover how to solve the puzzles of step parenting and stepchildren relationships. Learn how to communicate effectively with ex-spouses, deal with differences, maintain marriage quality, handle finances confidently, and “Cook” your stepfamily slowly rather than expect an instant blend. WOMEN’S MINISTRY PICNIC The Women’s Ministry, Women of Worth (WOW!), is hosting a picnic for ladies, 18 and older, on Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 12-5 p.m., at Hilltop Park, near South Buckley Road and East Dartmouth. The Children’s Department is hosting its Annual Father/Daughter Princess Tea, on Saturday, June 17, 2017, beginning at 11 a.m. in the CCF Main Fellowship Hall. This will be an afternoon of bonding and validation of our daughters in Christ. Wheels of Fellowship (WOF) Motorcycle Ministry’s Annual Biker Blessing is Saturday, June 24, 2017, in CCF’s Room 1. Before the blessing, attendees will enjoy a Continental Breakfast. After the blessing, kick stands will go up and bikers will enjoy a fun ride to Seven Falls in Colorado Springs followed by a WOF fellowship lunch. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, a biker, or would like to participate in this event, please join in the fun. Relentless Young Adults Ministry is hosting a trip to Mount Evans, on Saturday, June 24, 2017, beginning at 9 a.m. Mountain goats and bighorn sheep will greet Relentless travelers as they travel “to the top of the world.” Pastor Gerald is encouraging all participants to bring enough spending money for food, beverages, and souvenirs and to dress in layers as it can be 90 degrees in Denver and only 40 degrees at the top of Mount Evans. Travelers will also drive to Idaho Springs. Vacation Bible School (VBS) students will experience the thrill of visiting ancient Rome and meeting the Apostle Paul. VBS students will be transported to ancient times where they will meet early Christians hiding in caves, visit a Roman marketplace, race chariots, and more. VBS will be held June 26-30, 2017, beginning at 10 a.m., in the CCF Main Fellowship Hall. VBS is free for children in 2nd grade and up, but parents must provide signed permission forms for their children to attend. CCF’S ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC – Our annual church picnic will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Aurora Reservoir from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Hamburgers, hotdogs, and drinks will be provided. Bring your favorite dish or dessert to share. The cost to enter the park is $10 per car, but the picnic is free. There will be an Old Fashioned Baptism, games, and other entertainment for your enjoyment. If you would like to be baptized, please sign up at the Information Center during the month of June. You must also sign up for the picnic in June so we can have an accurate count and plenty of food.
It’s time to prepare for the Annual Fervor Youth Survivor Camping Trip on July 13 – 15, 2017 at Georgia Pass near Jefferson Lake. This trip will challenge your mind and your body and will foster an appreciation of God’s creation. Pastor Gerald Bargaineer will host a Survivor Camping Trip Information Meeting on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at 1 p.m., in the Main Fellowship Hall for parents and youth who wish to attend. The cost is $30 per person and all payments and permission slips are due by Sunday, July 2, 2017. There will be no refunds if you decide not to participate. No exceptions will be made this year. If you plan to participate, you must be willing to experience the outdoors and all that is has to offer. Parents and young adults who would like to volunteer should also attend June 4th’s information meeting for all details.
MEN OF PURPOSE MEN’S MINISTRY RETREAT– REGISTER AND PAY TODAY! The Men’s Ministry is hosting a retreat for men, 18 and older, on July 20-22, 2017, at the YMCA of the Rockies, 2515 Tunnel Road, Estes Park, CO 80511. The cost of the retreat is $115 per man. If you desire to sponsor a man to attend the men’s retreat, you can do so at the table on Sundays or setup a scholarship online. A non-refundable registration fee of $40 is due at the time of registration and registration will end on July 9, 2017. The price of the retreat includes sleeping accommodations, linens, towels, and all meals for the entire retreat. Some of the retreat activities will include: white water rafting, praise and worship, golf, horseback riding, discussion sessions, prayer, a movie night, basketball, and more.
