mainimg2CVTS offers free Weekly Walk-In Bible Study This Weekly Walk-In Bible Study is open to participants to join anytime. Topics will be determined by guest instructors each week. This will allow for Holy Spirit led Bible study and discussions on various topics. Join the groups every Wednesday – at 6:30-8p.m., this fall. COME HEAR PROPHET SYLVIA AT OUR 2017 ORDINATION CEREMONY Prophet Sylvia Smith will be the featured speaker for the Global Change Network, U.S.A., (GCN,U.S.A.) Ordination Ceremony on Friday, April 14, 2017, at 7 p.m., in the CCF Sanctuary.  Come hear what Father has given Prophet  Sylvia to share regarding the, “The Prime Directive.”  This year, we are  celebrating the candidates who have completed the 2015-2017 ordination program.

 

Every Wednesday services in Aurora are at 7 p.m., for Relentless Young Adults, at 10630 E. Iliff Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80014, in our sanctuary.  Relentless Young Adults Ministry is all about developing a deeply personal relationship with God and offering skills so that young people can be prepared for adulthood. The Men’s Ministry will meet on the Second Saturday of each month at 9 a.m., in the Cornerstone Café, to discuss topics that are important to men and learn how to walk in righteousness.  Men,18 and older, may submit desired topics for discussion in advance to jchendrix@ccfword.org.

 

Wheels of Fellowship (W.O.F.) is kicking of its 2017 Season and you are invited to join the fun and offer your input. W.O.F. is for motorcycle enthusiasts, those who enjoy the ride, great adventure, fellowship, and fun.  Join W.O.F. on Saturday, April 22, 2017, in the Cornerstone Café, from 9-10:30 a.m.  You can sign up in the lobby this month or for additional questions, please contact Cindy or Al Wallace.

 

BOYS 2 MEN BREAKFAST FOR SOLDIER BOYS All young men from the Children’s Church Soldier Boys’ class are invited to attend and participate in the Boys 2 Men Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., in the CCF Main Fellowship Hall. This will be a great time of fellowship, fun, and entertainment. Please sign up for the Boys 2 Men Prayer Breakfast at the Information Center following both services through April 16, 2017. You must sign up to attend so we can properly prepare and serve our boys.

 

OPEN MIC FIRE NIGHT  is a safe venue where all artists (musicians, vocalists, dancers, spoken word artists, action artists, comedians, writers, and rappers) can come together and exalt Christ through Christian artistry, every 4th Friday of the month from 7-9 p.m., in the CCF Main Fellowship Hall.  The venue is family friendly and all are invited. Our first Open Mic Fire Night for the New Year will be January 27, 2017.

Open Mic Fire Night Guidelines:

  • Open Mic Fire Night is a safe venue where all artists can exalt Christ through Christian artistry.
  • Open Mic artists should refrain from the use of profanity, racial slurs, inappropriate language and comments, and inappropriate gestures and body movements.
  • Open Mic Fire Night is family-friendly, and all ages are welcome to participate as performers and audience members.
  • Open Mic Fire Night will be conducted in a spirit of excellence.

 It’s not about entertainment, it’s evangelism through the Prophetic Arts!

 

MEN OF PURPOSE MEN’S MINISTRY RETREAT– REGISTER AND PAY TODAY! The Men’s Ministry is hosting a retreat for men, 18 and older, on July 20-22, 2017, at the YMCA of the Rockies, 2515 Tunnel Road, Estes Park, CO 80511. The cost of the retreat is $115 per man. If you desire to sponsor a man to attend the men’s retreat, you can do so at the table on Sundays or setup a scholarship online.  A non-refundable registration fee of $40 is due at the time of registration and registration will end on July 9, 2017.  The price of the retreat includes sleeping accommodations, linens, towels, and all meals for the entire retreat. Some of the retreat activities will include: white water rafting, praise and worship, golf, horseback riding, discussion sessions, prayer, a movie night, basketball, and more. Men are asked to bring their own snacks and specialty items. THE LADIES ARE HAVING A CLOTHING SWAP! Ladies, join the Women’s Ministry, Women of Worth (W.O.W!), for My Girlfriend’s Closet, on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., in the CVTS  Fellowship Hall.  My Girlfriend’s Closet is a clothing swap where you bring clothing, shoes, and accessories in good repair to trade, share, barter, or snag some new stuff of your own. What a wonderful and inexpensive way to breathe some new life into your wardrobe.

 

 

CCF SUMMER CAMP Ice skating, Cookies and Canvas, Football Camp, Dance Camp, Butterfly Pavilion, and the Denver Art Museum are just some of the activities that await those who attend CCF’s full-day summer camp for children, kindergarten through 5th grade. Camp will begin June 5, 2017, from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Camp ends August 11, 2017. The cost is $140 for 5 days a week, or $113 for 4 days a week, or $95 for 3 days. Lunch and snacks are provided.
